We have begun modifying the LS8-e prototype to install and use GEN4 batteries. The battery compartment of an LS8-e is currently being modified to install the new batteries. All load tests have already been completed, and final flight tests are scheduled for the fall.

Anyone wishing to convert their LS8-e to large GEN4 batteries can have the preparation carried out by DG in accordance with TM 8028 and then install the new batteries once the flight tests are complete.
