JSDG – production organisation of the future
The new production organisation JSDG GmbH has evolved from the two companies DG Aviation GmbH and Jonker Sailplanes LTD. The approval for this new Part 21 production organisation was granted by the LBA in 2024.

Following Volocopter’s acquisition of the former production organisation DG Flugzeugbau GmbH and its subsequent renaming to Volocopter Production GmbH, DG Aviation and Jonker Sailplanes now have access to an independent, EASA-approved Part 21G production organisation without any external dependencies.

The aim of this strategic partnership is to manufacture gliders using the expertise and resources of both companies.

Since certification, all spare parts for all DG and LS aircraft have been manufactured by JSDG Production, as have all new aircraft in the DG-1001 series.
