Space-saving solutions: We develop particularly lightweight special solutions for ambulance equipment in airplanes and helicopters. A specially designed connection system enables quick installation and removal, allowing small business jets in particular to be adapted to changing tasks in the shortest possible time.

Reducing energy: Since 2018, DG Aviation and DLR Goettingen have been jointly developing a new drive configuration of retractable and distributed electric drives. The “thrust flap drive” (SKA) in its basic mechanical concept is based on proven airbrakes – instead of the drag surfaces, propellers are extended from the wings. We are working on the development of a flying prototype based on the DG1001 – a pioneering step towards sustainable aviation with low energy consumption.

Waste recycling: How can we work sustainably and protect the environment? We are currently developing future-oriented processes to recycle waste in fiber composite production. The know-how flows directly into our work and benefits our customers.
