More than twenty 1000km flights above Germany were registered on July 7th which makes this day one of the best of the 2020 season. Numerous DG and LS Pilots were able to take a day off to make use of the good weather conditions. One of the Pilots was Peter Mangold, who was able to fly his first declared 1000km taking off from Ludwigshafen. Jochen Goller hit more than 1000km with a DG-800 starting the task from Waechtersberg close to the Black Forest.
A lot of Pilots were able to set new personal records. We’d like to congratulate all of them and wish all pilots a successful rest of 2020’s season!
