Many pilots regard the famous annual gliding contest in Klix as a kind of class reunion. Most participants have traveled there for many years and take advantage of the competition as kick-off for a new soaring season. Unfortunately this year the weather gods did not support the event. Very difficult conditions allowed for only one contest day. We are all the more pleased that Andreas Hillebrand with his LS8-neo was able to win the standard class and the couple Sabine & Wilfried Dinger with their DG-1000 came in first in the two-seater class. We wish good luck to all pilots on their future missions!
