During development of the DG-808C we deliberately chose fuel tubes made out of PU. The big advantage is that this kind of tubes has no life-time limit and usually does not have to be exchanged. However, due to diffusion this type of tubes may cause a higher level of fuel smell inside cockpit.
As an alternative we can offer to make a TN for the use of rubber tubes known from DG-808B with a life-time limit of 10 years. According to our experiance fuel smell should not occur with this tube version but an exchange is necessary after 10 years at the latest.

Modification at DG will cost round about 1.200,00 € +VAT. A kit for retrofit outside the DG workshop will cost approx. 500,00 € +VAT.
As soon as we have enough customers interested, we will proceed with this TN as soon as possible.
