Competition year 2024 – a very sporty and varied year! LS pilots once again performed strongly and the German team was also very successful. Once again, we congratulate all pilots on their outstanding performances.

Junior World Championships in Ostrow (Standard Class, Club Class)
LS8 pilots cleaned up in Ostrow. In the standard class, 11 LS8 pilots finished in the top twelve. In 1st, 3rd and 8th place were juniors from the German team. In the club class, the LS3 won the World Championship title, with the LS7 neo taking second place.

World Championships Uvalde – Texas (18m class, open class and two-seater)
We were also represented in-house at the World Championships in Uvalde Texas. DG Aviation Managing Director Holger Back coached the strong German team in America. The German pilots secured first and second place in the 18m class. The pilots from the German team also celebrated first and second place in the open class.

EM Tábor – Czech Republic (15m class, standard class, club class)
At the European Championships in Tábor, the LS8 pilots were again strongly represented in the standard class. Six LS8 pilots were among the top 10 finishers. LS3 and LS7 pilots dominated the club class in Tábor.

Grand Prix Arnborg (Denmark)
At the Gran Prix in Arnborg, the LS8 pilots dominated in 1st and 2nd place.

DM Club Class Feuerstein
A large group of LS pilots competed for the top ten places in the German Club Class Championships in Feuerstein.Six LS pilots placed among the top 10 participants.
The winner here was the LS3.

DG and LS gliders are our in-house new glider brands. We now provide a cross-brand service for all manufacturers and would like to congratulate all other pilots on their performances in the 2024 competitions. We wish all pilots exciting and accident-free flights for the new 2025 season.
