The test procedure for the new DG-1000T propeller axis is now over. The new axis is performing very well!<\/p>\n
First of all, Real Test GmbH our partner for this test procedure was testing 5 old style propeller axes in order to prove the test rig\u2019s accuracy. These tests resulted in cracks which look exactly the same as the cracks during operation in the DG-1000T. Also the time span in which these cracks occur was confirmed.<\/p>\n
Afterwards Real Test GmbH continued to test multiple axes of new design. These parts were tested successfully. At the moment, we have proven more than 50h of safe operation.<\/p>\n
At this point, we would like to thank especially Mr. Tobuschat from Real Test GmbH who spent a lot of work in this project in order to get the Turbos running again.<\/p>\n
DG Flugzeugbau now recommends dismantling the propeller axis including pulley and sending it to Solo. Therefore please use the following address:<\/p>\n
