During development of the DG-808C we deliberately chose fuel tubes made out of PU. The big advantage is that this kind of tubes has no life-time limit and usually does not have to be exchanged. However, due to diffusion this type of tubes may cause a higher level of fuel smell inside cockpit.<\/p>\n

As an alternative we can offer to make a TN for the use of rubber tubes known from DG-808B with a life-time limit of 10 years. According to our experiance fuel smell should not occur with this tube version but an exchange is necessary after 10 years at the latest.<\/p>\n

Modification at DG will cost round about 1.200,00 \u20ac +VAT. A kit for retrofit outside the DG workshop will cost approx. 500,00 \u20ac +VAT.<\/p>\n

As soon as we have enough customers interested, we will proceed with this TN as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
