The big advantage is that this kind of tubes has no life-time limit and usually does not have to be exchanged. However, due to diffusion this type of tubes may cause a higher level of fuel smell inside cockpit.<\/p>\n<p>As an alternative we can offer to make a TN for the use of rubber tubes known from DG-808B with a life-time limit of 10 years. According to our experiance fuel smell should not occur with this tube version but an exchange is necessary after 10 years at the latest.<\/p>\n<p>In case you are interested in the development of such TN please contact Frank Goetze via <a title=\"\" href=\"mai&#108;to:&#103;&#111;&#101;tz&#101;&#64;d&#103;-flu&#103;&#122;&#101;u&#103;b&#97;&#117;.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#103;oet&#122;&#101;&#64;d&#103;-&#102;&#108;u&#103;&#122;eug&#98;&#97;&#117;.d&#101;<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Modification at DG will cost round about 1.200,00 \u20ac +VAT.
