During the last weeks we started test flying our latest development for the DG-1001; – New 18m winglets –<\/p>\n

Visitors at the German Soaring convention were able to see these new winglets already.<\/p>\n

After the first flights we are able to say that, apart from looking fantastic, the winglets lower the glider\u2019s stall speed by approx. 2-3km\/h. During the following flights we will also compare stall characteristics with the old wing tips. We\u2019ll keep you up to date!<\/p>\n
