Consistently, there have been incidents during the engine use in motor-gliders due to a closed fuel cock.

Especially during the start-up process or when it’s necessary to use the engine at low altitudes to avoid an out landing, this incorrect operation can lead to fatal flight accidents.

Due to this matter we have decided to offer a fuel cock warning for all DG and LS motor-gliders in series.

This upgrade is also available and highly recommended for older DG motor gliders.

EASA recently approved TN DG-G-09 which enables to upgrade the following types:

  • DG-500M, DG-505MB
  • DG-600M
  • DG-800A/LA, DG-800B, DG-808C
  • DG-1000T
  • DG-1000M
  • LS8-t
  • LS10-st

Due to the fuel cock’s location in DG-400 motor-gliders, there is currently no intention to develop a solution for this motor-glider.
