During the last weeks we started test flying our latest development for the DG-1001; – New 18m winglets –
Visitors at the German Soaring convention were able to see these new winglets already.
After the first flights we are able to say that, apart from looking fantastic, the winglets lower the glider’s stall speed by approx. 2-3km/h. During the following flights we will also compare stall characteristics with the old wing tips. We’ll keep you up to date!
