People currently keep on asking when the DG-1001e neo will be ready to fly! A reasonable question because the glider was planned to take off early this year.
Although we reacted to the COVID-19 crisis quite fast, the current situation noticeably slows down our operation. As a result delays were not avoidable. The prototype is in final assembly now and important load tests are performed.
Some German states allow flying single seated again. We hope that there will be a solution available soon to perform customer test flights as well.
