The DG-1001Club is well-established as a superb training sailplane. Due to its excellent allround capablities in combination with high performace its widespread all over the world.
Jens Trabold from Nordic Gliding Magazine had a close look on this sailplane and its operation for Air France in the magazine’s last issue. 4 DG-1001Club neo are currently in use at St. Auban, France’s national gliding centre. All new Air France Pilots need to complete a basic course there and for this reason start their career as a pilot in one of our gliders.
